We incorporate some stretching into every workout at The PrivatGym™. But our Rittenhouse physical therapist team also helps with stretching. And, let’s be honest, it’s something that many of us tend to overlook. And if we stretch we may not do it effectively or for long enough.
So many clients suggested that our Rittenhouse physical therapist team create a stretching program.
They know that stretching helps keeps us flexible. And our Rittenhouse physical therapist team notes that stretching helps relieve muscle soreness. It reduces joint stiffness. And it can help improve your balance.
Not only that, stretching can enhance your physical ability, mobility and range of motion. There isn’t a downside if you stretch with care.
Well, we listened. And, our Rittenhouse physical therapist Lauren Gastall PT DPT created the “Simply Stretching” Program.
Of course, your “Simply Stretching” program matches your abilities and needs. We’re a cautious team.
But there are a few common elements in your 30 minute routine.
- We start with a brief 5-minute warm up. Stretching cold muscles can lead to injury.
- We focus on major muscle groups. You benefit most from stretching neck and shoulders, lower back and calves, hips and thighs.
- We avoid pain. You’ll probably feel some tension and stiffness while we stretch. That’s good. It’s increasing your range of motion and flexibility.
It’s easy to log in and buy sessions online.
And because stretching is most beneficial when you do it regularly, we offer 5 and 10 session packages.
And if you have questions, Lauren and our Rittenhouse physical therapy team will be glad to answer them. Just stop in. Or you can call us at 215-545-6500 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Or go to our contact us page.
